Richard was the chairman of Elite Homes, a regional housebuilder who were constructing over 500 homes per year at the time of it’s sale to national housebuilder, Bovis (now Vistry) in 2008. Richard founded Westchurch Homes in 2014.
Managing Director
A qualified chartered accountant and Fellow of the ICAEW, Darren has worked with Richard Topham in their construction and property related businesses for over 20 years. One of the founder members of Westchurch Homes Ltd, he has responsibility for all financial aspects of the business.
Finance Director
Ian, a Quantity Surveyor by background, has over 25 years’ experience in construction across various industry sectors including residential, aviation, hotels & leisure, healthcare and football stadia. Ian oversees the daily operations of both the construction and commercial departments.
Operations Director
Paul brings a wealth of civil engineering expertise to the company. Paul has over 22 years’ experience of working in housebuilding, the majority of this time has been spent with national housebuilder Redrow Homes with the last 10 years as a Director.
Technical Director
Brona has worked for various construction and property businesses with Richard for over 20 years in many different roles from finance, facilities management, HR, compliance, sales and after sales. Brona is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow member of the ICAEW.
Post Development Manager
Oliver’s background lies in social housing, with 10 years of experience in the management of new build affordable housing projects from inception to completion. Oliver leads on partnering with Registered Providers on affordable developments.
Business Development Manager
Sophie is a Chartered Town Planner with over 18 years’ experience in both planning and surveying. Sophie is responsible for identifying new land opportunities and appraising them from a planning perspective. If you have or know of any land, get in touch with Sophie!
Land & Planning Manager
Oliver gained experience in construction before starting his career in site management. In 2017 he was crowned the best site manager in the North West at the NHBC Pride in the Job awards whilst also receiving a much coveted ‘seal of excellence’. Oliver takes personal responsibility for ensuring that every home handed over by Westchurch is of the highest quality.
